Creating Virtual Reality apps with webVR

The key focus of this session will be understanding how to make VR for free. You don't need to spending $$$ on HTC Vive or Occulus Rift. Create on your laptop or your phone & Google cardboard a webVR experience with https://aframe.io/ . A-Frame can be developed from a plain HTML file without having to install anything. A great way to try out A-Frame is to remix the starter example on Glitch, an online code editor that instantly hosts and deploys for free. We will show you how to use 3D software to find / make / adapt 3D objects for your webVR experience.
This session will be of interest to TiC of STEAM projects, and both Junior / Senior DTEC teachers.
It will be helpful if you have some basic understanding of HTML, but this is not essential. Bring your laptop so you can have a go. If you don't have smartphone you can experience webVR on your desktop. Some Google Cardboard will be available to try out.
