Writing and using POGIL activities in the sciences – 2

Process oriented guided inquiry learning (POGIL) is a student centred group learning approach involving 7 process skills, in which students are assigned specific roles and use "models" to work towards understanding and application of the central concept. This session will look at how POGIL works in the classroom and briefly introduce how to produce your own POGIL activities. Aimed at both junior science and all three senior sciences. Examples will be mostly from senior Biology and Chemistry.
