This session is intended as a discussion forum focusing on best practice in Social Studies teaching, in the junior secondary context. It will begin with some examples of our assessment framework, based on SOLO taxonomy, to start the session. Each participant is encouraged to bring one example of a teaching and/or assessment task to share. This session is targeted at Years 7-10 Social Studies but could be useful for educators teaching at a range of curriculum levels.
