Harakeke, weave a kono or a placemat

Using Harakeke weaving to celebrate traditional materials in the classroom. This session is aimed at teachers wanting to develop capabilities in weaving and consider ways to incorporate aspects of Maori culture in their teaching practice. The two activities are suitable for beginner (the place mat) and more experienced (the kono) weavers. All materials will be supplied.
