Culture is a term that has been used to cover many things. In educational contexts, it is central to curriculum design, the ways in which we teach, and what we value as outcomes. Yet in our efforts to be culturally responsive, we can sometimes cause harm. This session seeks to highlight some of the tensions in singular approaches to culture and identity, and using examples from a range of perspectives, helps us to become more critically aware of our practice.
